With minimum noise equivalent powers of 3.0 pW / √ Hz and 1.5 pW / √ Hz for the visible and infrared versions of the DPD80 photodetector, it has lowest in class noise floor. Additionally, the immediate internal amplification and digitization eliminates signal degredation and noise pickup from coaxial cables.
Fast Data Streaming to your Computer
The DPD80 photodtector can continuously stream data to your computer at a sample rate of 80 megasamples / second using USB 3.1. This digital connection from photodetector to computer simplifies experimental setups, and powers the device so that it doesn't require a seperate power supply. We also support Python, MATLAB, and C libraries allowing you to automate you data collection.
Included User Interface for Real-time Data Analysis
Our touch-screen compatible user interface allows you to view the incoming optical data in either the time domain or the frequency domain, eliminating the need for an external oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer or analog to digital converter to view your optical signal. Saving data and controlling your DPD80 USB photodetector is made simple with our interface.
